Remember to smile
I kinda see it coming. Last night sleeping an hour late made me drowsy. So is tonight truth to tell.My friend is getting married on my birthday. This year's celebration will be special then.
My pile of receipts are segregated and I am almost a hundred percent sure that the parents will be calling me yelling on the phone. And so it happens in the morning.
Class was fine today, except there were part of serious mocking and scolding. The kids in standard 5 gave me such a sudden headache that I slammed their exam papers on the table and gave a good lecture on how to behave.
During recess, a kid came up to complain about being thrown with a bowl of mee by the standard 6 kids. He was babbling on and on about eating his cake making his own little mess when the standard six kids started to call him names.
So I let the disciplinary teacher handle it. Turns out it was the little kid who was at fault first, throwing cakes around annoying people. But he refused to admit.
In the afternoon I was asked to substitute an English class, this time a kid came up to say "I like your class, teacher. Please teach us next time," and I was flattered. Yet I have to move my car again, this time with the help of a teacher couple, the cutest couple I've ever met apparently.
When I reach the center it was 3.15pm. Starving, I had a bowl of yee mee with extra serving of soup and chicken bones. Mom, Jenny and Uncle Ong were searching for coffee, but we're finished, so I promised to buy it later today.
A kid from Sek Wawasan handed me his BM paper and said he scored an A for the first time of his life. The teachers in the center thanked me for it, and I was flattered again, but I pushed the credit away.
Two girl friends called me in a row. Mei called to ask if I wanna join her traveling to Krabi next year since the airfare is dirt cheap. I said yes obviously. Wen called asking about the 60th anniversary thing whether valid without coupon or with.
The girls asked if I was talking to Baby. Then they sneaked into my bag to grab my purse, and saw the pic of Baby and me. They laughed saying that they have boyfriends too, but they fight every time. Kids these days.
Today's class with Standard six, I've learnt a few new words in BM. They're having their pre-UPSR exam tomorrow.
Soon after when I come down, the kid I scolded yesterday came automatically to apologize. Now three time's the charm. Today's officially a good day.
Anyways, I got to finish marking two piles of essays and got to go to the gym. Today's class was Bodycombat. Another heaty session with the hot instructor. But when bouncing and punching and acting manly halfway, my bra strap fell off. What a way to embarrass myself.
