I've been watching dexter, totally mesmerized in the characters and story plots. So far finished 1st season. :) also, I've cleared all debts, quit relay for life because of the immense commitment I have to sacrifice. Am busy with uni work. On the other hand, life in school is fun.

anyway, colleague's family business is the bakery and pastry. Belanja-ing hokaido cake.

Holidays. And it's raining. Did some house blue print on sketch-up. York's idea of a container house spurred my interest intensely.
The back view of the house: Utility space and kitchen at an extended outside porch, also using the frame of a shipping container.
There are plenty of shipping containers out there waiting to be fabricated and used as a living space. Hopefully one day I could make this work. (With proper planning).
My initial idea was to stack containers up to form a livable house. However people believed that it would be a really hot place to live in, but I found out with proper insulation, the heat can be kept away and cold air kept in.
This house is built on a 60' x 50' land, using one 40' shipping container and five 20' shipping containers. The front view is as above, with an extended roof for vehicles. Two rooms, a balcony and a 15 sqft toilet upstairs, living room, dining room, utility room, green house and toilet downstairs.
Side view: Using rain water catchment and upcycled materials, the toilet and crop garden is sustained.

2nd post in a month. Just a brief update.
Upsr just done, things going well, thanks to the help of a colleague. The administrators are pleased with our work.
Our class will be conducting a few events (this time I'm letting them do the work) such as, visiting old folks home, throwing a children's day party, siviks project, sushi workshop, jellyo workshop, class revamp and graduation book.
Upm new semester just started, and I've been working on my project paper to be submitted by next few weeks.
Also, I'm taking part in an awesome project by raleigh... A swim around tioman relay. And I've opt for a 1km distance swim, training every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. However today mm has clashed with training, so I'm now enjoying a new cup of coffee at the new branch of mcdonalds. Lol lazy. I didn't join because I didn't sign up because I thought I was going to an auction with York today. But in the end, it was canceled.

nice setting... Inspiration for my future home. Hehe
Another thing in my mind is getting a fridge for my apartment. Planning to stay there permanently. Lol.

I am back after one week of promoter ship-jumping at Sunway Pyramid. Feeling glad that I have a job that offers me security, ample of time, opportunities in careers and love from the kids. My kids gave me pressies and a card (signed by all) for my birthday! Best present ever. :) We also went to Bukit Botanic Hot Pot Shop to have a great meal, my treat! :)
Anyway, all thanks to hubby's blue eye glass amulet from Turkey, I've gotten my work done smoothly. School's been rough, but I'm glad the UPSR is nearing. The kids are doing so far so good.
